Job post: Account Executive

Account Executives are responsible for prospecting for new business, upselling and cross-selling within our extensive client-base, as well as delivering results against target. This position works closely with their clients throughout campaigns, often on a daily basis for making sure that all the activities related to an event go smoothly. They manage administrative and campaign work, ensuring that this is all completed on time and on budget

Key responsibilities

 Meeting and liaising with clients to discuss and identify their needs

  • Working with relevant teams to devise plans & concepts that meets the client’s brief and budget
  • Presenting the plan, ideas and costings to clients
  • Negotiating with clients, solving any problems and making sure deadlines are met
  • Checking and reporting on the plan’s progress
  • Keeping in contact with the client at all stages of the plan
  • Managing the account’s budget and invoicing the client
  • Making ‘pitches’ to win new business
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with clients and suppliers

Skills required:

  • Good spoken and written communication skills (Vietnamese & English)
  • Strong presentation and negotiation skills
  • Confidence, tact and a persuasive manner
  • Good organisational and time management skills
  • Good ‘people skills’, for working with a range of colleagues and clients
  • Ability to lead and motivate peers
  • A willingness to work long hours, often under pressure
  • A professional manner
  • Solution thinking
  • Good business sense and the ability to work to budgets
  • “Can Do” attitude at work is very important.
  • Ability to work with high level client

Education

  • BA of marketing/economic/advertising/communication

Experience required

  • At least 1 year experience working for event agencies with the same role

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to work long hours, especially under tight deadline (occasionally)
  • Work traveling is required;
